No, all sessions are being conducted virtually at this time. Upon scheduling an appointment with me, you will be provided with a unique link to access the virtual platform. This link is personal to you and is only accessible to you and me.

Teletherapy visits are $125 per session.

I have decided not to panel with insurance providers however, based on your specific insurance plan, you may be eligible to be reimbursed a portion of your cost for therapy using out-of-network (OON) benefits. I will provide you with a “super bill” so you can submit your claims to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to inquire about OON benefits.

In summary, insurance companies can be intrusive and restrictive. In past experience, the expectations for therapy brought upon by insurance companies has hindered client progress as the goals of insurance companies often times do not align with the goals of therapy. 

Insurance companies demand that practitioners submit diagnoses and progress notes in accordance to their expectations. The information submitted becomes part of your permanent medical record and can be used against you in the future when applying for health care coverage. In addition, insurance companies have the right to audit your mental health records at any time and may stop paying for treatment if they deem it not medically necessary.

As an out-of-network or private-pay practitioner, we can spend our time in therapy focusing on what YOU want to focus on, rather than focusing on diagnosing and documenting.

I accept credit/debit card, Venmo and check payments. Clients are expected to pay the full amount for each session up-front. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to inquire about OON benefits before attending your therapy session.
